Welcome to the Bristol & District Table Tennis Association web site.
The BDTTA has the largest number of members of any Association currently affiliated to the English Table Table Tennis Association Ltd. With just over 430 members for the 2009/10 season we are one of a handful of Associations with more than 300 members.
Our main competitions are:
- Winter League – Nine divisions of twelve teams
- Closed Championships – Senior, Junior and Vets competitions.
- A knockout handicap team competition – Morley C Mordecai Memorial Handicap Competition
- A knockout club competition – Gilbert Belsten Memorial Knockout Competition
- Junior League – Three divisions of eight teams
- Junior Christmas Tournament – Individual knockout tournament and an opportunity to “run off the Christmas festivities”
- Summer League – A fun handicapped league for those that can’t get enough table tennis.
- Hardbat Competition – Introduced in 2008 and looking to become a permanent fixture in our Association calendar.
The BDTTA has clubs as widespread as Thornbury to the north, Cleeve & Claverham to the south, Keynsham to the east and Portishead to the west. There are numerous clubs spread around the area competing in the Bristol League, from Juniors to Veterans and standards ranging from social player to international standard.
